The theme for each particular Sunday is then continued at an appropriate level for the children and young people (1st - 3rd Formers) in JAM Club (Jesus & Me). We are following the Scripture Union "Light" syllabus. Click on the name of an organisation below to view more information: JAM Club Crèche Boys Brigade Girls Brigade PW Bowls Choir Friendship Circle Praise Team Worship Team Keep Fit JAM CLUB (Jesus And Me - Sunday School) Primary school & 1st-3rd formers meets 10.30am - 11.30am. Initially in the church service before going to different classes at approx. 11.00am. The Scripture Union "Light" materials are being used. Back to Top  Crèche Available every Sunday for infants and pre-school children. Meeting in the Mulholland Room of our Church Halls 10.30am -11.30am. Back to Top  Boys Brigade The Boys Brigade meets every Monday night. The Anchor Boys is for boys aged 5-8 years (P2-P4) and is held from 6.30-7.45pm. The Junior Section is for boys aged 8-11 (P5-P7) years and runs from 7.15-8.30pm. The Company Section is for boys aged 11-15 years (Form 1 and up) and is held from 8-10pm. The motto of the Boys Brigade is "Sure and Steadfast" . Back to Top  Girls Brigade The Girls Brigade meets Thursday night. The Explorers Section runs from 6.15pm to 7.30pm and is for girls aged 3 up to P4. The Company Section takes place between 6.45pm and 8.30pm and is for girls P5 and older. Four main areas covered in the GB programme are spiritual, physical, educational and service. The motto of the Girls Brigade is "Seek, Serve and Follow Christ" and we aim to teach the girls how to do this. Back to Top  PW The Presbyterian Women is a women's organisation within the Presbyterian Church in Ireland. The aim of the organisation is to unite women within the church, to support mission within the church, and to provide links between churches, both throughout Ireland, and worldwide. In Hyde Park Presbyterian, the PW meets on the second Tuesday night of each month at 8pm. Back to Top  Bowls The bowling club meet for a practice on Tuesday evenings. They take part in various matches with different local churches throughout the year. Back to Top  Choir The Church Choir sing every Sunday morning. Practices for special services and events are held on a Wednesday night. Back to Top  Friendship Circle The Friendship Circle meets the third Thursday of each month at 2.30pm. The programme is varied with guest speakers and "special presentations" and is open to all adults. Back to Top  Praise Team The Praise Team is open to anyone who can play a musical instrument or wishes to sing as part of a group, and leading the praise in church. Back to Top  Worship Team Meets monthly with the minister to discuss the Sunday services and other matters relating to worship for the month ahead. Also meets for prayer and preparation as arranged. Back to Top  Keep Fit Keep Fit class is held on Wednesday nights from 7.30pm -8.30pm in the main Church Hall. The cost is £3 per person, per night. All levels of fitness are catered for, and the class is run by qualified instructors. New members are always welcome. Back to Top
